AI Prompting for Entrepreneurs: The SIMPLE Framework That Gets Better Outputs

Slug: ai-prompting-simple-framework

Meta Description: Want ChatGPT to produce better content, faster? Use the SIMPLE prompting framework and stop getting generic AI outputs.

Featured Image Prompt (Modern / business realistic):
A laptop open to a clean prompt editor on screen, a hand holding a pen over a notebook titled “SIMPLE Framework,” modern desk setup, soft natural light, realistic business photo style.

WordPress Block Paste (Body):

Most people don’t have an “AI problem.”

They have a prompt problem.

They type something vague like:
“Write me a blog post about affiliate marketing.”

And then they act surprised when the output sounds like a robot doing homework.

So here’s a framework I use that fixes 90% of it.

The SIMPLE Prompting Framework

Remember this:

S — Situation (what’s happening)
I — Intent (what you want it to achieve)
M — Model (the role/voice it should use)
P — Parameters (length, style, structure)
L — Limits (what to avoid)
E — Examples (a sample to match)

S — Situation

Give context like you’re briefing an intelligent assistant:

  • audience

  • offer

  • platform

  • goal

I — Intent

Be specific:

  • “generate 10 hooks.”

  • “rewrite for clarity.”

  • “Create a 60-second script.”

  • “Turn this into an email sequence.”

M — Model

Tell it who it is:

  • “Act like a direct-response copywriter.”

  • “Act like a friendly mentor.”

  • “Act like a skeptical customer.”

P — Parameters

Decide what “done” looks like:

  • word count

  • format

  • tone

  • reading level

L — Limits

This is where quality jumps.

Examples:

  • “no hype”

  • “no ‘game-changer’”

  • “avoid buzzwords”

  • “Don’t mention income claims.”

E — Examples

Even one example changes everything.

Paste 3–10 lines of your style and say:
“Match this.”

Copy/Paste Prompt You Can Use Today

Prompt:

Situation: I’m writing for beginners who want to build an online income stream but feel overwhelmed.
Intent: Write a blog post that teaches a straightforward concept and gives an action step.
Model: Act like a straight-to-the-point mentor.
Parameters: 900–1,100 words, short paragraphs, bullets, clear headings.
Limits: No hype, no fake urgency, no income promises.
Examples: (paste your writing sample here)
Topic: ______

The Goal Isn’t “More Content”

The goal is better thinking.

AI is best when it helps you:

  • clarify your message

  • structure your ideas

  • move faster without losing your voice

If you treat it like a vending machine, you’ll get vending machine results.

If you treat it like a tool, it becomes leverage.
